AT&T to begin unlocking non-contract iPhones this upcoming Sunday, April 8th

Apparently, starting this Sunday, AT&T will begin to unlock non contract iPhones. Customers with iPhones with accounts in good standing will be able to request a carrier unlock for their device. What this means is that once freed from the AT&T network, any micro SIM card can be inserted into the phone.
AT&T’s official statement
Beginning Sunday, April 8, we will offer qualifying customers the ability to unlock their AT&T iPhones. The only requirements are that a customer’s account must be in good standing, their device cannot be associated with a current and active term commitment on an AT&T customer account, and they need to have fulfilled their contract term, upgraded under one of our upgrade policies or paid an early termination fee.

Mists of Pandaria Press Tour Summary

So much new information being released today by Blizzard regarding the new World of Warcraft expansion that’s coming. Here is a quick summary by MMO-Champion
  • The final patch of Mists of Pandaria will be the Siege of Orgrimmar! Both factions lay siege to the city to bring Garrosh down and end his reign of Warchief.
  • The new LFR loot system will allow everyone to roll individually. The highest few rolls will win an item from the boss. Upon winning a roll, if the boss has an item that you can use, you will win it. If not, you will get some amount of gold. It will only be in LFR to begin with, but can be added to other parts of the game later.
  • An 11th character slot has been added.
  • AoE Looting has been added.
  • There will not be an item squish in Mist of Pandaria.
  • No new race models are ready to be added yet.
  • There will be nine level 90 heroics for players as well as three raids with 14 raid bosses and three difficulties. There will be an additional two world bosses.
  • Scenarios will take place at level 90, in an instance, and reward reputation and Valor points. They don’t need a healer, tank, and DPS, just DPS is fine. Each will take 10 to 30 minutes to complete and five or more will be available for launch.
  • In Challenge Modes, the vast majority of players will most likely earn a bronze medal even if they are a relatively unskilled player. After a player earns all the medals at the Bronze level, they will be rewarded with an achievement and title. Completing all of the Silver medals will earn a set of spectacular gear for transmogrification, and completing all of the gold will earn a unique epic flying mount. Challenge modes will be available for the six new dungeons at launch.
  • Cloud Serpents are the Pandaren’s mount of choice. You can raise your own by doing 20 days of daily quests.
  • The Tillers faction will let you run your own farm! The farmer’s market will provide daily quest to improve your farm every day, you will be able to clear plots of land and plant things like cooking ingredients, herbalism nodes, gifts for NPCs to build your reputation… etc.
  • Warlocks got the most class changes in MoP, along with new pets.
  • There will be more mounts and less color swaps for different rewards.
  • They are adding armor to creatures to give them varied appearances, something other than just simple color changes.
  • There are now seven zones, up from five. This was done to add more content to the game and give players a less linear progression path so that leveling for a second or third time isn’t the exact same.
  • There will be one new arena and two new battlegrounds at launch.
  • PvP pet battles are going to be fun and causal, only tracking the number of wins and not the number of losses. When fighting another player, you cannot see the other players name or communicate with them.
  • Currently, every race except Goblin and Worgen can learn the ways of the monk.
  • The Pre Mists of Pandaria Patch will be roughly two weeks before launch and bring simple rewards. It might involve a scenario with Theramore and the Alliance vs Horde theme. Chen Stormstout might also come to the local cities and get players excited about what is coming.

Hard Drive Prices Remain Inflated Until 2014

We all know about the flooding in Thailand last year that caused the prices of hard disk drives (HDD) to rise. It is expected that inventories will not be back to normal until the end of this year and prices will stay high until 2014.

The average global price for hard drives increased by 28% at the end of 2011 and experts estimate the prices will decline by 12% every year.

The hard drive industry will have to spend around $1 billion dollars to build new manufacturing plants therefore causes the price to stay inflated.

According to GameTrailer's User Choice For Most Anticipated Game of 2012, Diablo 3 won the #1 spot with 40,000 votes. Check out the video below for the top 10 most anticipated games.

All we can hope for is a complete well done game when Diablo 3 gets released, hopefully by April.
On other thoughts, i've been playing the Diablo 3 beta a little bit and trying out all different classes.
My favorite and first class to level up when Diablo 3 hits will be the Wizard

Viggle App - Get Paid while you watch TV

The first company to offer a reward system that give their viewers gift cards from racking up points while watching TV on their iPhones and iPads.

This could be a make or break to revolutionizing the way we watch TV. Who would have thought that doing something we enjoy like watching TV, one day can actually earn us rewards?

The idea behind this is to encourage more viewers and increase the size of the audience, therefore shows will earn more money from advertisers.

You can sign up and find out more about this loyalty program at The Viggle Website. There is also a nice article from The Washington Post that may sway you to downloading this app.

In conclusion, it's nice to get rewards for things we already do, so might as well give it a try.
I notice lately there are a lot more of these type of reward programs popping up day after day. Things advertisers and companies do to get viewership for their ads!

Random Intro of my Dog

I think my puppy deserves some publicity for this hunt. Lil'Boy, that's what I call him, is my mix Dachshund that is extremely protective, loyal, and fiesty. He usually patrols the backyard every morning after he wakes up, making sure that there are no critters / wild animals in his territory. Lil'Boy thinks he is a soldier on patrol, he think he's at war everyday with any creatures that dare venture into my backyard.

One unlucky rat was happened to crossed the fence into my property got caught and look at what happened to it. LOL

The rat looks like it tried to feign death, but still got owned and died for real. This is how  my puppy shows off to me every day.

He goes hunting and patrolling the property!

MMO Champion Rage

Before you read anything, please keep in mind this:  A number's worth is relative to what you are comparing it to

Every time Im reading a post from people regarding Blizzard need do to a number crunch on stats, it just make me angry of how people don't under stand the way numbers / stats work.

Average tank right now is around 200k hp, if the boss hits him for 50k a hit, it takes 4 hits to kill the tank without heals.

IF IN Pandaria, a tank has 400k HP, but the boss in Pandaria hits him for 100k a hit, IT STILL TAKES 4 HITS to kill the tank without heals.

THE BOTTOM Line is, doesn't matter HOW Much Health you Have, Damage you do, Healing you do, or stats you have, IT ALL DEPENDS ON OTHER STATS.

That's why NUMBER IS A RELATIVITY thing.

If you have 50 HP or 500k HP as a tank, how OP you are depends on how hard the boss hits, how much healers can do, etc

So, those of you saying you will be shooting a Fireball for lets say 300k damage in expac in PVP, IT DOESNT MATTER if the other PVPer have 900k HP, you wont kill him.

The only argument I can see from people that complains about numbers increasing is their brain don't want to calculate all these digits.

That's why there's a thing call ROUNDING UP or DOWN.  Does it make a difference if you are hitting for 50 damage, or 50k damage? just add a "k" and call it a day.

Not gonna lie, us Americans are relying too much on things to make everything simple so our brains can become lazy.

Why would you want to be lvl 90 and attack for 500 damage, when you can do 500k, even though both can be balanced with the consideration of other numbers

Am I the only one that's thinking this way about all these un-needed complaints to lower HP pool / Damage / Healing / Stats?
